The Inspired Home Policies:

General Shipping Policy. The Inspired Home ships via DHL Ground, UPS Ground and Fedex Ground. The Inspired Home bills a flat rate shipping charge on a per item basis. The shipping price is listed on the product page of all our products. Flat rate shipping costs cannot be lowered when ordering multiple quantities.

All purchasers will receive a tracking number when their order is shipped. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to make arrangements for delivery. Please be aware most Ground shippers do not require a signature to release a ground package. The Inspired Home cannot be responsible for any package delivered and subsequently claimed as lost.

However, The Inspired Home also offers 'Signature Required' service. If you require additional delivery options please call us and we will work with you. Merchandise may be picked up at our warehouse; however, a sales tax of 7.5% is required on these sales.

SHIPPING COSTS FOR UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES WILL BE ASSESSED TO THE PURCHASER.

Damaged Goods. If you receive a package that has been damaged in transit please accept the package and take pictures of the damaged carton and any damage to your merchandise. It is important to gather as much documentation as possible in the event a damage claim is made against the shipping carrier.

7 Day Money Back Guarantee. The Inspired Home will accept the return of merchandise with the following conditions:

1. You initiate the return of the item within 7 days of receipt. We must receive the item within 14 days of our ship date. Items received after these time periods will not receive credit.
2. To qualify as a return, all items must be shipped back in original containers and condition.
3. When we receive your return we will refund your account less shipping (see above example).
4. If a product is damaged, The Inspired Home must be notified within 7 days of the customer receiving the product. After this period The Inspired Home will not accept product returns with any damage.

Shipping Returns. Returns are assessed the flat rate outbound shipping charge and the total charge accessed by the carrier for the return. For example, if a $249 dining chair with a $25 flat rate shipping charge were returned, the customer is responsible for $25 in shipping costs to receive the chair and (assuming the carrier charges $35 for the return) $35 to return the chair for a total of $60. In this example, the original amount billed would be $249 plus $25 in shipping for a total of $274. Upon receiving the returned chair in good condition The Inspired Home would return $214 to the customer, which is $274 minus $60.

Canceled Orders. Canceled orders are subject to a 15% restocking fee and may only be canceled if the order has not shipped.

Methods of Payment. The Inspired Home requires payment through Google Checkout (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express). Currently, The Inspired Home only sells and ships to the U.S. mainland 48 states.
